Schedule a Department Visit

Prospective students are encouraged to set up a department visit. We can offer you a tour of our facilities, a chance to sit in on a few classes, meet faculty and students, observe a rehearsal, or watch a performance. Please take a few minutes to complete this form so we can craft a visit that is unique to you and your interests and ensure you get the most out of your time with us.

After you complete this form, you will be contacted by Undergraduate Studies Coordinator Maureen Boman or our Graduate Studies Coordinator to arrange the finer details of your visit. You will receive an itinerary 3-5 days before your arrival date so you can plan accordingly.

Note: M.A. and Ph.D. applicants who are admitted to our program will be invited to an open house held early in the spring semester. The event is usually planned around a symposium, graduate research presentation, or other activity in the department. M.F.A. Acting applicants who have auditioned may be invited to callbacks on-campus, which will include other activities. If you plan to attend the open house or callbacks on-campus, you do not need to complete this form.

VISIT DATE INFORMATION
Note: Please provide at least two week’s advance notice. Individual department visits can only be scheduled during regular business hours. Ohio State’s Office of Admissions and the College of Arts and Sciences offer campus visits which you are welcome to take part in. The department visit is separate from these visits, though you can elect to schedule your department visit on the same day as your campus visit. If you have already scheduled a campus visit, please indicate this in the message area, along with the date and time of the campus visit.
:
A typical department visit lasts half of a day (in addition to your campus visit). Please provide the earliest time at which we should begin your itinerary and the latest time we should end it.
