Alum Emily Jeu (BA, theatre '14) won Season 1 of the Burgschneider Challenge. Burgschneider, based in Frankfurt, Germany, supplies medieval clothing for festivals, stage, and screen.

In the challenge, individuals receive heavy discounts to Burgschneider garments which they then customize. After modifying the garments, contestants share their work via social media with the hashtag #BurgschneiderChallenge. Winners are chosen based on their creativity and "the over execution of the modifications based on the context provided by the creator."

While Jeu was a student, she designed costumes for Zombie Prom (2013). She also served as manager of the school tour in 2017.
