Lia Christine Dewey is a master's degree student in theatre graduate program. She is also a published and produced playwright, her play Imposter having been published in the Chicanx Writer’s and Artist’s Association’s journal Flies, Cockroaches, and Poets in 2019 and produced by The Fools Collaborative in Fresno, CA also in 2019. Her play Las Hermanas was produced by the Selma Arts Center in 2019, as well. Dewey is also the Region 8 Winner of the Institute for Theatre Journalism and Advocacy for 2019, and served as a guest artist at the Kennedy Center for the National American College Theatre Festival in 2019. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting and a minor in German from California State University, Fresno.
