InterACT Production Details

Directed by Elizabeth Wellman
Performance Dates: College of Public Health, Date/Time TBA and Thurber Theatre (April 22nd, 7:30 PM)

In partnership with the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching, the InterACT Theatre Project company devises and produces 1-2 different interactive theatrical experiences for a variety of audiences across campus that focus on challenges related to diversity, inclusion, teaching, and learning. If you are interested in collaborative new work, improvisation, and/or community engagement, we'd love to see you at auditions!

This semester, 10-12 company members will work collaboratively as an ensemble to research, devise, and perform an interactive new work that utilizes a variety of theatrical techniques, including improvisation in character. Former cast members come from a wide range of majors across campus including biology, engineering, Italian, social work, English, political science, psychology, business and marketing, strategic communications, aviation, veterinary sciences, art, dance, and theatre.

All InterACT cast members enroll in TH 3921S for 3 credit hours. ALL rehearsals take place during scheduled class time. InterACT members CAN also be cast in main stage productions without conflict. Follow The Interact Theatre Project for Social Change on Facebook or InterACT_OhioSt on Twitter for more information.
