This is an on-site audition for MFA Acting applicants qualified to be considered for nomination for the University Fellowship competition. In order to be eligible for this audition, applicants must have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent on another scale). The competition is open to domestic and international students.
Applicants should be prepared to present an audition according to the University/Resident Theatre Association (U/RTA) guidelines for Acting Auditions: Two contrasting pieces with introduction not to exceed four minutes total time. Furthermore, applicants should be prepared to demonstrate additional skills and to receive direction. We are particularly interested in the presentation of any material created by the actor.
Book your audition slot here. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your audition time to check in at a table in the lobby of the Roy Bowen Theatre.
Once you have completed the MFA Acting Fellowship Audition, application materials must be received by November 30, 2014 to be considered for fellowship nomination. Deadlines, application and admission process details for the graduate program may be found by following this link.
Please note that we will also be recruiting at all three U/RTA audition sites and will hold a general on-campus audition on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
