This colloquium aims to provide an opportunity to share work—in whatever form it takes—across a wider academic and local community. Where do research, art, performance, and community intersect? What happens when scholars, artists, activists, and community organizers reach outside their home disciplines to collaborate, reach new audiences, and make meaningful connections?  Where are there opportunities for our work to have impact beyond the university? How might we foster cross-disciplinary relationships for future collaborations? We hope that “Bursting the Silos” can be a space for sharing research, artistic work, and community projects in a variety of formats. This might look like: a conference-style paper, a live performance, a staged reading, a gallery of visual art, a technological demonstration, leading a brief group activity or discussion. Send proposals to Nicolas Shannon Savard by Sunday, February 3, 2019. "Bursting the Silos" is sponsored by The Syndicate, the theatre graduate student association at The Ohio State University.
