THEATRE 2211: Introduction to Production Design

Introduction to scenic, costume, lighting and sound design techniques for production; experience in research and designing projects.

In this foundation course, students get a taste of all the areas of theatrical design. They will study one play over the semester, researching and creating a comprehensive design that encompasses scenery, costumes, lighting, sound, and media. In addition, students will attend and respond to the designs from the department's current season.
