The Book of Boyhood tells the
story of a boy born into a world where there are no choices,
where being wrong is not an option. As the boy discovers
who he really is, he attempts to mask his true feelings,
tries to change his identity, and experiences near death
trauma. As the play draws to a close, the boy finally realizes
that he is who he is and that some things in life are not
meant to be changed.
