Parking Procedures
CampusParc is the private company that manages parking at The Ohio State University. Pay N Display parking machines are available for short term public parking on the OSU campus. Unless you have an OSU parking permit, you must purchase a permit ($1.50 per hour OR $6 for the evening) using the Pay N Display parking machines. These machines accept credit cards or coins, but not dollar bills. If you have questions regarding parking accommodations, please contact the OSU Theatre Box Office directly at (614) 292-2295 or visit the CampusParc website. Please avoid parking meters. They must be fed at all times and have very short parking limits.
Parking at the Drake Center for the Thurber Theatre, Roy Bowen Theatre, and the New Works Lab
The closest parking location is the Mid Tower lot, directly across the street from the Drake Performance and Event Center, between Lincoln and Morrill Towers. This fills up early and to avoid being late, should be avoided after 7pm. The best location to park, with traditionally the most available spots, is the parking lot adjacent to Ohio Stadium, north of Morrill Tower. Additional parking is available on the Ag Campus, in the Sisson parking lot. This lot is accessed off of Coffey Road. It also utilizes Pay N Display. The footbridge over Olentangy River Road takes you directly to the Drake Center.
Parking for Mount Hall Studio Theatre on West Campus
West Campus parking lots utilize Pay N Display. The Studio Theatre is located in Mount Hall, 1050 Carmack Road on the West Campus - one block south of Lane Avenue and just west of Kenny Road. Mount Hall is the first building on the right when you enter West Campus. There is limited Pay N Display parking in the lot directly in front of Mount Hall. Additional parking is available in the main West Campus parking lots. To get to these lots, drive past the road that leads to Mount Hall and take the first road on the left. You can park in either lot, to the right or the left. It is quicker to park in the lot to the left. In the northeast corner of this lot is a footbridge that will go over Carmack Road, so you can continue on to Mount Hall.
CABS, the OSU bus system, also runs free of charge during the production season (autumn and spring semesters). Park in the West Campus lots just west of Kenny Road on Carmack Road and take the Campus Loop South bus from West Campus directly to the front door of Drake Performance and Event Center. Buses run approximately every 10 minutes until 8 pm, and every 15 minutes thereafter. For information on CABS, call 292-9341 or visit their website
