Hey Alumni!

As other colleges and universities are beginning to gear up for an August start, Ohio State’s quarter schedule continues to give us a late September first day of classes. But there is much in the works to get ready for our fall quarter and one project in particular needs your help. In November, the department will welcome three external evaluators who will be reviewing our curriculum and commenting on our strengths and weaknesses as a department. One aspect of their review will be looking at our alumni and where they are living, working and doing. ENCORE our annual magazine lists many of your accomplishments and some of you are quite good at keeping us up to date. But during our evaluators visit, we wanted a visual way to display the many and varied career activities of our grads. This is where you come in.

Please take a few moments right now to grab an envelope and a stamp and mail to us two copies of your current business card. This can be the card that reflects your day job, your artistic passion, or both. We want to take over at least one of the large hallway display boards with postings of business cards from the unique to the sublime reflecting the diverse places, jobs, and projects that involve alumni of the OSU Department of Theatre. If you have a few minutes, write a quick note that talks about your work as well. If not, just two copies of your business card will do. We will report on the success of this project in future department publications, and we promise only to use the contact information that you give us from the cards from this project and to keep in touch with you.
