The Ohio State University Department of Theatre

Machinal was an exploration of texure, color and angle conveying a world of confinement, reflecting the continual
judgment and mental instability of a young woman. I incorporated the Source Four Revolutions and Rosco I-Cues as key and edge lights on the young woman throughout the production. These fixtures allowed me to always keep focus on her character as she was transformed by the society around here. The scrollers were incoporated into the top
and side light systems to help create a variety of scenic environements in a relatively confined space. The Source Four Revolutions and scrollers both incoproated custom scrolls that were specifically designed to allow color selection to flow from scene to scene with minimal movment through the colors.
