Internationally known lighting designer Beverly Emmons visited campus in 2007, and presented the annual Theatre Research Institute Lawrence and Lee lecture to the university community.In addition to the lecture, Ms. Emmons met with and provided great inspiration to graduate lighting students who were studying one of the TRI’s many extensive design collections, examining the designs of another internationally known lighting designer - Thomas Skelton - whom she worked for early in her career at the Connecticut College Dance Festival. |
