Exhibition Opening: September 26

The exhibition opened in true carnival style. Metronomes Steel Band entertained guests Michael Campbell, from City Hall’s Culture Team, welcomed guests. Artist and playwright Michael McMillan was the emcee and acknowledged the artists and exhibition team while actor Colin Salmon spoke about the importance of carnival in his life. The drums sounded and Kinetika’s bloco and performers danced down the ramp in an exhilarating display of carnival art. The exhibition takes place on three levels in City Hall located on the Thames directly across from the Tower of London.
