The exhibition, with the support of the Ohio Arts Council and The Ohio State University, will tour to Columbus, Ohio, where it will open at the OSU Urban Art Space on February 5, 2008 and run through April 4, 2008.

OSU Urban Art Space is a new major gallery located in downtown Columbus. As part a major initiative by Karen Bell, Dean, College of the Arts at The Ohio State University, the new space is a centerpiece to her “Arts Downtown” initiative. The gallery is located in the old Lazarus Building at the city’s center. The Urban Art Space is part of long term plans to revitalize the downtown, an exciting project headed by the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and The Ohio State University.
In addition to the carnival exhibition, the university is offering three courses on carnival during winter quarter, residencies by carnival artists from London, and several public lectures linked to carnival coming to Columbus, including the Urban Party Mix.
