Many of
the students use this program as an opportunity to expand their European travel
beyond London. One weekend in the program is considered a 'long weekend' and
students are encouraged to take day trips, travel to other countries, or simply
explore London. Our students have journeyed as far away as Greece while others
have visited Paris, Bath, Brighton, Cardiff, Edinburgh (for the Fringe Festival!),
Yorkshire, and more...
Below are
a few shots from the scenic locations all within easy reach of London!

Bath
is a particularly favorite spot. An easy day-trip, Bath is a great place
to relax, shop, and see a variety of sites from the Roman Baths to the
Museum of Costume.

Hampton
Court is also an easy jaunt from London. Henry the VIII resided here
and the place is a architectural marvel complete with a maze and beautiful
gardens.

Brighton
is only a few hours away on the coast with the Pier and the Pavillion
as main attractions - be warned - you want to visit this landmark
on a sunny day!

Yorkshire
is not a common stop but some of our students went there to Complicite's
production of Light in 2000

Cardiff,
the capital of Wales, is a day trip that allows students to experience
another culture, see ancient ruins, taste traditional Welsh food,
and shop!
