Ms. Fox is a playwright, director, actor, and voice production specialist. In New York City, Ms. Fox was in the original Broadway Company of the, Tony Award winning, The Last Night of Ballyhoo as well as television’s The Guiding Light. Regionally, she has performed at the Yale Repertory Theatre, the Repertory Theatre of St.Louis, the Pioneer Theatre, and others. In Columbus, she has performed at CATCO and been a guest artist at Otterbein College. Recent performing projects include Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Virginia Arts Festival and Cybil in Private Lives at the Lyric Theatre in Boston, MA. Recent directing projects include Burn This at the Red Herring Theatre Ensemble and The Rocky Horror Show presented by CAPA at the Southern Theatre. Professor Fox’s most recent playwriting project, POTS, was performed as a part of the Collaboration Sketchbook Festival 2004 in Chicago. She will be facilitating a new play with the Red Herring Ensemble entitled You are Here or There Goes the Neighborhood, a portrait of Columbus, OH.

 

As a voice specialist, she has worked extensively with Shakespeare & Company of Lennox, MA in the Linklater pedagogy and has been the Vocal Director on countless university productions and looks forward to more! Outside of the university, Ms. Fox has published articles for the Voice and Speech trainers' Association presented at the Mid American Theatre Conference, led workshops at ATHE, and does consulting for churches and other organizations. Some special interests include: Arts in Education and the use of Multiple Intelligence Theory in the classroom and creating new plays from a vocal foundation. Ms. Fox has taught at Ball State University, The Columbus Children's Theatre, The Arlington Massachusetts Center for the Arts, and continues as a private teacher of acting and voice. Ms. Fox is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers' Association, Actor's Equity, and The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
