Special Services

Audio equipment with oral description of the performance for the visually impaired is available on the first Saturday matinee of each Thurber Theatre and Bowen Theatre production. Seats and the equipment must be reserved one month before the performance date. There is no charge for the equipment. Please contact the box office at 614-292-2295 for details.

For the Hearing Impaired

Signing of performances may be arranged by contacting the box office manager. A request for this service should be initiated at least one month in advance of the performance desired - more if possible. Please contact the box office at 614-292-2295 for details.

Parking

There is handicapped parking in the metered area. There is additional handicapped parking across the street in the mid-tower parking lot. Although all of the main entrances to the Drake are handicapped accessible the easiest access to the Department of Theatre is through the ground floor north entrance (closest to the stadium). There is a sidewalk ramp and door openers at this entrance. Enter the building and proceed to the elevator on the right. Take the elevator to the first floor and turn right. The lobby is straight ahead. For performances see the ushers for access to the handicapped seating areas. To reach our main office turn left in the main lobby and proceed to the end of the hallway. Turn left down the next hallway and turn right at the second door. The main office is on the right room 1089.
