Humana Festival - Theatre 5798.01

Study and attend one of the best new play festivals in the world! Students will explore the history and relevance of the Humana Festival to the landscape of US performance, as well as the career trajectories of its 2017 playwrights, directors, and designers.

Students will travel by van to Louisville, Kentucky, for College Days at the Humana Festival (March 24-26, 2017). While there, they will attend five plays, as well as workshops, colloquia, and lectures from key professionals in the field. Students will also have the opportunity to interview and audition for the Apprentice Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

COSTS
A limited number of tickets for undergraduate theatre majors will be underwritten by the Heckart Fund. A limited number of graduate theatre students’ tickets will be underwritten by application to the Snow and Morrow funds. Students are responsible for their own housing costs. Transportation will be coordinated by the Department of Theatre; each student is asked to pay $30 towards the cost of van rental and gas.
