Bina Sharif, New York-based Pakistani playwright and actor, will perform her celebrated and provocative Afghan Woman, a powerful examination of the life of a Muslim woman. Her residency will include a workshop on her creative process and classroom visits. Co-sponsored by the Coca-Cola Student Project Fund.

On Friday, January 24 Fawzia Afzal-Khan, Pakistani theatre scholar, will respond to the work in an AfterWords Post Performance Discussion with Bina Sharif. This event is co-sponsored by OSU's WID (Women in Development).
