Jan Woods
Costume Studio Supervisor
Jan joined the OSU Production Staff this fall as the Costume Studio Supervisor. She received her MFA from Penn State University in Costume Design and Technology. Previously, Jan taught costuming and stage makeup at
Penn State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder and
Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, and also managed the
costume shop at the University of Colorado. She completed an Internship in Theatrical Millinery with Lynn Mackey Studio in New York. Jan has worked as a draper at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Central City (CO) Opera, Denver Center Theatre Company, Irene Corey Design Associate and J. Ahrens’ Customworks. She has designed costumes for Theatre Britain and Uptown Player in Dallas and Plano East High School in Texas, Penn State University, Shakespeare a the Palmer in Pennsylvania, the University of Colorado at Boulder and at Denver, and Director’s Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Her avocation is flying her hot air balloon, “The Adventure.”
