Matt Hazard began in theatre at the Ohio State University in 1992. In 1995 he took almost five years off from school to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Matt spent the summers of 1998 and 1999 in exotic vacation lands such as Albania and Kosovo, while he harbored his lingering desires to work with lights. In 2000, he returned to OSU and graduated in December. That same month he attended the Broadway Lighting Master Class in New York City. Matt has supervised the lighting studio since then and continues to serve his country. He is proud to be a local homeowner and has been a Buckeye fan his entire life.
