Mark is the resident technical director and has been a member of the faculty at OSU since 1986. He received his MFA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Theatre Technology. He is the co-author of the book Drafting for the Theatre and has written numerous articles about theatre technology. Previously he was the Technical Director for the Fireside Dinner Theatre at the Madison Opera Company. In addition, he has served as a theatre consultant on several new theatre constructions and renovations. He teaches courses in drafting, technical direction, sound, theatre technology, properties, and metals. He has also served on the Board of Directors for USITT and chairs the Tenured TD Mentoring project.
