Janet Parrott is a graduate of The Ohio State University with degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Filmmaking. Her films have been shown with the Chicago filmmakers Women Make Movies, The Black Maria Film festival, and the Three Rivers Arts Festival just to name a few. Her versatility is shown by working both in the corporate and art worlds as a director, producer and editor. She is teaching film and video production in the department of Theatre. She is currently directing a documentary about Aids and Hospice in South Africa.
