Associate Professor, Anthony D. Hill, teaches courses on American and African American theatre history, literature and criticism. He is the administrator for the 367.01 theatre course, Self Images: America on Stage 1830 to the Present.
Among Professor Hill's recent creative and scholarly
activities, he directed Ghost Stories of the Blacksmith Curse by
Billy Graham, an OSU theatre production performed downtown at the Riffe Center
and was part of the School Tour. His book Pages from the Harlem Renaissance
is in its
second reprint; and, he is under contract to write another book, An Historical
Dictionary on African American Theatre History. He gave a talk on Savion
Glover before Savion's performance at OSU; and he presented a paper and directed
two play readings at The Black Theatre Network held in
Winston Salem, NC.
