Anthony Hill developed and taught a graduate course on diversity. He is also in the process of restructuring two undergraduate theatre courses that he teaches on diversity. Outside of the department, he is an honorary faculty member in the African and African American Studies Department (AAAS); he is the Newsletter Editor for the American Association of University Professors (AAUP); and he serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Collegiate Press.

Anthony is working on a proposal for an African American Theatre component in the department. He facilitated a radio interview with the British "dub" poet Benjamin Zephaniah on WOSU and introduced him for his performance of Laugh, Cry, and Get Angry with Benjamin Zephaniah in Thurber Theatre. Anthony continues to conduct interviews and to do research for his second book project, entitled "Seattle: A Theatre History." He also continues to attend and participate in major conferences and festivals such as The Comparative Theatre Conference, The National Black Theatre Festival, and The Black Theatre Network Conference. Anthony is currently setting up a symposium on Adrienne Kennedy for the spring quarter 2003.

Last summer (2001) Anthony developed a workshop for the Office of Minority Affairs' Samuel Du Bois Young Scholars Program and was awarded a plaque for excellence in teaching by a five-panel jury for his work with the students.

As co-founder, consultant, and dramaturg for "Hit the Ground Running Theatre," a Columbus based multi-ethnic theatre company, Anthony continues to develop original scripts and to revise productions.
