Emmy nominated writer Jeffrey Solomon's solo plays Mother/SON and Santa Claus Is Coming Out were critical hits in New York, Chicago, Provincetown, and venues nationally, and both took top honors at the Columbus National Gay and Lesbian Theater Festival in 2002.
Called "hilarious" by In the Life, a "tour-de-truth!" by the Chicago Tribune and "universally moving" by In Theater magazine, Mother/SON depicts the relationship between a gay Jewish man and his mother.
Santa Claus Is Coming Out...or How the Gay Agenda Came Down My Chimney is a documentary spoof about the world's reaction when people learn Santa Claus is gay. Santa Claus is Coming Out had its premiere in Chicago as part of the Bailiwick Pride Series, and won the Best of the Columbus National Gay and Lesbian Theater Festival award in 2002.
