Coming of Age, cartoonist Morrie Brickman’s unpublished play about retirement, offers a wry perspective on aging. It will premiere as part of the “Cartoonist as Playwright” symposium at a reading directed by Joy Reilly and featuring alumni Reuben and Dorothy Silver. Cartoonist and playwright Jules Feiffer will offer his perspective on the cartoonist as playwright. The afternoon ends with a reception at the Cartoon Research Library to open its special exhibition Hoo-Boy! Morrie Brickman’s The Small Society. These events are free and open to the public.
