Sobering Thoughts
By Jason Kravits
Presented in Mount
Hall Studio Theatre
and OnTour to Local Schools
Directed by Xela Batchelder
Sobering Thoughts takes a highly unique, informative
and entertaining approach to exploring the issue of substance abuse. Focusing
on the problem of teenage drinking, the play dispels myths, challenges engrained
ideas, and takes a head-on plunge into the world of parties, drinking games
and other destructive behaviors. Without succumbing to preaching, Sobering
Thoughts provides an unavoidable, hard-hitting message on the dangers involved
in underage drinking.
