Director of Undergraduate Studies

The Department of Theatre develops practitioners and scholars for a full life in the theatre and the arts. We believe that critical inquiry is the foundation of arts production. The BA program is therefore designed to develop the critical thinking skills needed to create and appreciate new work, to understand the history of theatre crafts, and to help navigate professional lives in the arts. This academic training is matched by opportunities for equally demanding practical training in acting and design and providing ample performance opportunities for our undergraduate students. The BA in Theatre is the beginning of an on-going life of learning about Theatre in its many forms.
