Ryan is currently serving as the House Electrician at the Wexner Center for the Arts, a multidisciplinary contemporary arts center which is a part of the Ohio State University. At the Wexner Center, Ryan is responsible for the implementation of the theatrical lighting throughout the Center's activities. Ryan is also responsible for console programming, general maintenance for the Center's inventory and designing the lighting as needed for the operation of the Center.

In his free time, Ryan is seen around designing countless number of shows for various groups. Most recently, Ryan served as an Assistant Designer on the Broadway production of Metamorphoses with local USAA Designer T.J. Gerckens.

Ryan is a member of IATSE Local #12.
