Chris and Ardra Zinkon

Graduation: Chris, 1996 & Ardra, 1997

We married over three and a half years ago, and continue to live in and work predominately in Houston. We just bought a house and are still settling in and renovating. Chris is gearing up for his sixth season at the Alley Theatre, his fourth as the Technical Director. This season promises to be challenging. The Alley is currently involved in a major architectural renovation and Chris is on the long range planning and renovation committee. Following damage from tropical storm Allison the scene shop has been moved off-site for this season. He is looking forward to next Spring and moving into their new and improved shop facilities on-site.

Ardra is now an Associate for MJS Lighting Consultants. We work locally, nationally and internationally on commercial and high end residential projects. We have been extremely busy this year. Some new and continuing projects include Phase two of Houston's Hobby Airport renovation, several new high-end residential projects, and two historic courthouses in Texas. One of our larger residential projects included lighting an exterior Dale Chihuly Glass Sculpture which won an IES regional design award and is moving on to the next level of judging.
